Where To Find Amazing, Free Images For Your Blog Or Social Media

Do you often have trouble locating where to find amazing, free images for your blog or social media post? Most people do. I have searched the internet to try to find a good group of resources to save you the time of searching for yourself. I believe that this list of image resources will provide any image you may need for your post.

Pictures Sources

1.  Unsplash.com

There are many different images available at this site. In my opinion, they have some of the best nature images available. If you are looking for beaches, forest, mountains or sunsets, this is a great site. www.unsplash.com.

2.  Picjumbo.com

There are over 16 categories to choose from at www.picjumbo.com.

3.  Picography.co

There are not a lot of images available on this site, but the ones that are there are good quality. A premium membership is also available at picography.co.

4.  Pexels.com

This is a great site that contains tons of images. You should be able to find any image you need at https://www.pexels.com

5.  Stokpic.com

This site has a lot of images available. You can sign up for 12 images to be emailed to you weekly if you like. stokpic.com

6.  Stockvault.net

This site has a wide variety of images available. You can even submit your photos to this site. www.stockvault.net

7.  Foodiesfeed.com

This is a great site for food images. A premium membership is also available. https://foodiesfeed.com.

8.  Photopin.com

This is another site that has a huge amount of images. Images are searchable. photopin.com.

9.  Splitshire

The images on this site tend to be more the dark, somewhat out of focus or slightly blurred types of images. https://www.splitshire.com.

10. Morguefile.com

This site contains more than 350,000 images of all types. You should be able to find the image you need on this site. https://morguefile.com,

11.  Pixabay.com

This site contains more than 840,000 images for you to choose from. This is one of the more popular sites that bloggers and social media users tend to use. I would recommend this site as a starting point when searching for an image. www.pixabay.com.

12. Bossfight.co

This site has good images and new ones are added on a daily basis. https://bossfight.co.

13. Stocksnap.io

This site has over 20 categories you can search from. https://stocksnap.io.

14. Publicdomainpictures.net

This site has over 20 categories to choose from. Many good images on this site. www.publicdomainpictures.net.

15. New Old Stock

This is a good site for black and white images of old buildings and streets from the past. nos.twnsnd.co.

16. Kaboompics.com

This site has over 300,000 images to choose from. kaboompics.com.

17. Gratisography.com

This site has 7 categories to choose from. gratisography.com.

18. Thestocks.im

This site has over 15 categories to choose from. Within this site, there are image sites available to use. thestocks.im.

Picture Editors

Images are a great way to punch up the content of your blog or social media post. However, sometimes you may need to do some editing of those images. You might want to add text, add a border, change a background or resize an image. Here are some tools that might help you:

1.  Picmonkey.com

You can get a free 7 day trial, after that you have the option to purchase a subscription on a monthly or annual basis. https://picmonkey.com/photo-editor.

2.  Pixlr.com

This is a good one to remove a background from an image. It does other editing as well. https://pixlr.com/editor/.

3.  Ipiccy.com

This is a free image editor. Just upload your image and edit it. ipiccy.com.

4.  Picresize.com

This is one of my favorites. It is very easy to use and is great for resizing an image for a Facebook post. www.picresize.com.

5.  Canva.com

This is a great and easy to use editor and creator. One of the benefits of using this is that you can make a template once and re-use it over and over again. You do not have to start over each time. It is a free editor, but there is a paid option as well. There are very many videos available on YouTube that will teach you how to use it. www.canva.com.

6.  Pic-collage.com

This is a great tool to use for before and after pictures, or for comparison images. https://pic-collage.com.
