How much you invest in advertising is always a tough question to answer. It is different for everyone. We all have different circumstances that will dictate our financial decisions. However, we all know that we have to drive traffic to our offers in order to make sales, and therefore money.
Watching a Facebook Live broadcast from Dean Holland this morning, he broke it down to some common sense steps. It will depend on where you are in your business. For example, are you still working at a regular job? Are you marketing full time? Either way, you will be limited by time or money, or possibly both.
Investing In Your Business…
There are two basic ways to invest in your business. You either invest time or money. It is recommended that you invest a minimum of one hour per day of focused action in your business. Of course, do more if you can. The more you do, the faster you will get results.
We all have 24 hours in a day. It is up to you how you spend those 24 hours. We all have challenges with our time. You just need to carve out a specific amount of time per day to work on your business.
This is always the one that people struggle with the most. People enter this business to make money. Unfortunately, many have been sold the dream that it does not take any work. That is far from true, as most of you know. It does take time and money to do this business.
It will cost you money to drive traffic to your offers. That is where you make your money. You will have to decide on how much money you are willing to spend in order to drive traffic to your offers. This decision is different for everyone.
I Made A Sale…
One of the hardest things for people to realize is that once the sale is made, there will be a waiting time before you receive the money for that sale. It could be anywhere from 24 hours to two months. You have to allow for the conversion process to take place, and then be placed in the payout period.
Reinvesting My Commissions…
It is a good idea to reinvest some of your commissions back into advertising. The main thing is that you reinvest whatever you are comfortable with. There is no pat answer. It will vary from person to person. A good rule of thumb is at least 50 per cent. You may be able to do more, or you may be able to do less. It is entirely up to you.
Invest as much time and money into your advertising as you can. The more you do, the faster you will see results.
