The Quick Start Challenge…A Review

Do you want to start an online business…

Have you wanted to start an online business, but you didn’t know where to start? Have you been studying how to make money online? If you have, this could be your best option to move forward.

You do not know where to start…

Have you been trying to learn internet marketing? Are you suffering from “information overload”? If you really want to learn a system that will force you to take action, and that will move you forward, the Quick Start Challenge is your answer!

Quick Start Challenge

Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone…

To be truthful, be prepared to be uncomfortable, scared, intimated and probably frustrated at times. For me, in other programs, I would get frustrated when I could not get something to work for me, or when I could not get good support. I will say, in this Challenge, we have a Facebook Group that is very helpful when you have questions. That is one of the reasons I did not quit. Believe me, I got frustrated several times!

Week 1…

In week one, we were advised of the three “evergreen” niches, By this I mean niches that will always have people searching for information and products to solve problems. These niches are Health, Wealth, and Relationships.

Part of your assignment for the first week will be to select your niche, and make a commitment to complete the first challenge in seven days. You will be asked to set up a blog, with an “about me” page. You will also have to make at least one blog post, and mention the Quick Start Challenge.

In order to set up a blog, you must get a domain name. I chose Roy Miller Marketing.com. You can obtain a domain name from Go Daddy.com, or Name Cheap.com; just to name a few. There are many more out there. Just Google “domain names” to find more.

Once you have your domain name, you will need web hosting. Hostgator.com is a very common hosting company. There are others. Just Google web hosting to find more.

Do you have any experience with domains, or web hosting…

I did know how to obtain a domain name and web hosting, however; I did not have any experience with setting up a blog. The most common and preferred blog platform is WordPress. Since I did not have any experience with WordPress, or blogging, I went to You Tube and watched videos that showed me how to set one up. It took me a long time to do it, and it probably wasn’t the best one around, but I got it done!

My take on the first week…

I have been studying internet marketing for a long time. Longer than I care to admit. I studied, I tried to learn, and I did learn some things. The problem for me was that I was afraid to take action. I thought you had to know everything, and everything had to be perfect. That is just not true. You just have to take that first step, and from there, just take some form of action every day. I can tell you from my experience, it is challenging, it is daunting, and it is going to stress you out some.

At the end of the first week, when you see what you have accomplished, it is an awesome feeling. More than that, it will prove to you that you can do it! It then becomes real to you.

Coming Soon, Week Two…

To your success,

Roy
