The Quick Start Challenge, Week Two

Here we go with the Quick Start Challenge Review- if you have missed Part 1 here you can read it on

http://www.roymillermarketing.com/the-quick-start-challenge-a-review/

And here is the second amazing week now available for you

The Subject for Week Two Was Traffic…

The metric for measuring the success of your traffic is the following formula:

traffic + conversions = sales

When you have sales, you have money in the bank!

What are the two types of traffic …

The first form of traffic is “free traffic”. In order to have free traffic, you have to have time. Free traffic will require time to develop.

What are some free traffic strategies…

Free traffic does require time, but it can be very effective. The results will not be instant. It will require regular and consistent action. You will need time for people to get to know, like and trust you.

Forums…

Another method of free traffic is posting in forums. With this method, you go to forums in your niche, and make relevant comments. This method will also take time. In these forums, you will be allowed to place a signature in your comment that will allow you to get backlinks to your blog. (you are not, however; allowed to place affiliate links in your comments)

The Blog Hop Method…

This method requires you to “hop around on other peoples blogs” and make a comment. Your goal is to become a regular visitor on other peoples blogs.

What is a Blogroll and How Can I Use It…

A Blogroll is a list or series of blogs that you can visit and leave a comment on, and the other blog owners can leave a comment on you blog. This will help you with backlinks.

The Other Form of Traffic is…

Paid traffic. As you can imagine, it means that you pay money for traffic.

Solo Ads…

With this method, you find a solo ad seller that will place your ad to their list. You pay a certain dollar amount for a certain number of clicks to your ad.

Facebook Ads…

You can place a sponsored ad on Facebook for as little as $5.00 per day. Facebook has a very large reach, and you can really target you market by multiple categories.

PPC, or Pay Per Click

Pay per click is where you pay a certain dollar amount for each time your ad is clicked on.

The Assignment for Week Two…

We had to create a video, and put it on You Tube, and publish it on our blog. We also had to mention the Quick Start Challenge in our video.

I’ll be Honest with You…

I almost quit when I heard what we had to do for this challenge. I can tell you that my only experience with video before this, was to use my Iphone to video my grand kids. Believe me, it was nothing professional by any means! I had no idea how to put a video on You Tube. Like most people, I was worried about how I would sound, how I would look, would the lighting be right? I really struggled with this. I had no clue.

I Had to Find a Solution…

Not knowing what to do, I went to You Tube for videos that would show me how to use my Iphone to record a video. Making the video was the easy part. Uploading it to You Tube was the part I had the most trouble with. Fortunately, the members of the Facebook group were there to help me. Several members offered me advice and help. It took me a long time, but I just did it! When I got it done, it was such a great feeling of accomplishment. That helped me to continue the Challenge.

Coming soon, week three…

To your success,

Roy
